Design which takes a holistic approach that combines innovative cooling systems, energy-efficient building designs, renewable energy integration, and adaptable infrastructure to create environmentally friendly and energy-efficient facilities. Utilizing modular and scalable infrastructure allows us to adjust capacity based on demand, minimizing excess energy consumption. Optimized material selections such as low carbon concrete drastically alter our environmental footprint.
Hydrogen fuel cells produce electricity through an electrochemical process that combines hydrogen and oxygen, generating power and emitting only water vapor and heat as byproducts. This process is emissions-free and environmentally friendly, making hydrogen a clean alternative to diesel. Hydrogen provides consistent power output over an extended period, making them suitable for critical applications. Hydrogen can also be stored for longer durations, offering flexibility in managing power needs during prolonged outages or emergencies.
Geothermal energy offers a consistent and renewable power source. Data centers can utilize geothermal heat pumps to directly cool their facilities, reducing reliance on traditional cooling systems. The stability of geothermal energy ensures a consistent and reliable power supply, mitigating the intermittency often associated with other renewable sources like solar or wind power. Recent developments have drastically increased the number of feasible locations for geothermal plants.
With over 300MW of solar already deployed and 900MW planned, our ability to rapidly implement utility scale solar is constantly improving. Through effective site selection and prioritizing locations with available transmission we are able to implement capacity equaling our usage as needed.
Offshore wind capacity is increasing at a steady rate in our primary market area and allow for the utilization of Renewable Energy Credits and the Renewable Portfolio Standard. State incentives are available for certain sites.
Biodiesel can be an environmentally friendly backup fuel for generators when sourced and produced responsibly. It typically produces fewer greenhouse gas emissions when burned. Biodiesel made from waste cooking oil or algae reduce waste and land-use pressures.
